Temporary Roommates
Temporary roommates
Are arriving today
I have no idea
How long they will stay
I'm afraid they'll be staying
Longer than most
I suppose it depends on
My composure as host
I'll show them the sights
There is so much to do
Restaurants, Museums
Perhaps a trip to the zoo
Botanical gardens
Galleries, Parks,
The aquarium to visit
The Hammerhead sharks
As the days turn to evenings
We'll head to the bars
Enjoy the night life
And look up at the stars
At the end of their trip
They'll be exhausted and happy
I expect their depature
Will make them feel crappy
Once again I will gain
Control of my home
Until it's my turn
to travel and roam
