Frustration
People who frustrate me:
- People who say "was" when they mean "were"
- People who say "further" when they mean "farther"
- People who write "it's" when they are not signifying a contraction of "it is"
- People who pluralize with apostrophes
- People who pronounce the word "height" as if it were spelled "heighth" with an "h" at the end (I swear to you, they do that in the midwest!)
- People who pronounce "across" as if it were spelled "acrossed" (and that, too! Can you believe it?)
- People who write "your" when they mean "you're"
- Grammar pedants
