All Write, Already!

I'm at work. I mean, well, I'm in the workplace. It's quite obvious that what I am doing is not working. I don't write for a living, and therefore writing is not working. If I thought of it as working, then I would probably have an even tougher time bringing myself to do it.

Then again, if I'm writing and someone interrupts me, I'm likely to say that I'm working on something, right? Drafts are "works in progress," correct?

Okay, so I'm working. That doesn't stop me from being furtive about it at my workplace. I doubt very seriously if an employer would be as easily convinced of my industriousness as you and I are.
